BOY SCOUT TROUP 77
Troop 77, sponsored by the Toccoa First United Methodist Church Men's Group, was organized in 1945. Over the years, the troop has produced more than 80 Eagle Scouts. Hundreds of boys from Toccoa/Stephens County have gone through the BSA program with Troop 77; it is one of the more prominent troops in this area. They have a well-rounded program for boys ages 11 to 17 that includes training in physical, mental, civic, moral, and spiritual values. They stress active participation, leadership training, and advancement through the Scout program. The troop meets every Monday night from 7:00 - 8:30 pm in the Scout Hut behind the Toccoa National Guard Armory.
If you have a child who is interested in getting involved, contact one of the troop leaders or the church office. Visit the Troop 77 website for more information.
